When used as a standard replacement on the rear of a Mk2 Golf the hose conversion kit WC6980506-2P is required. Mk2 Golf rear calipers originally used standard threaded brake hose fittings, but these calipers require the banjo bolt style brake hose.

| Fitting Info | For Mk4 but can be used on Mk2 as an upgrade for 1988-91 models. To use on the rear of MK1/2 you will need the correct conversion brake lines, stub axles and discs. It is recommended that the banjo bolt and caliper threads are lightly greased prior to fitment to aid the instillation. Assembling without grease runs the risk of the threads binding resulting in permanent thread damage. |
