I have a Feb 1987 build GTI with 226mm rear brake discs, does this conversion kit suit this vehicle. If I purchase this kit, am I able to get a matching pair of Goodridge hoses to fit my standard front brakes or are they only available as a full set.

Yes, these will suit your current set up. Unable to help with just front Goodridge Hoses, only in a full set.
