Standard flywheel oil seal. Sold individually.
Flywheel main oil seal, as fitted to the engine case of all 1200cc - 1600cc based aircooled engines. It serves an important role to seal between the crankcase and the flywheel / crankshaft, keeping oil inside the engine case.
If your VW is leaving a puddle of oil behind when you park up then it is very important to investigate; if the oil is dripping between your gearbox and engine then it is likely the flywheel oil seal is leaking and this will need replacing immediately.
