Hi i was just wondering will the vdo cockpit fuel guage work with a stock sender on a 1990 mk2 golf 8v if not will the universal vdo fuel level sender be a straight swap with the stock one thankyou

Thanks for the enquiry. This gauge will only work correctly with the Universal sender.
