Volksworld 2025: What you really need to know!
It's less than 2 months to the traditional show season opener for us. But there have been some changes over the winter to what the Volksworld Show will be this year, including the introduction of a new venue, so as a long term supporter and partner of the show, we've outlined the facts, and highlighted some great reasons to be there!!
Is the Volksworld show going to be bigger in 2025?
Yes, the good news is that the Ardingly Show Ground is purpose-built for these kinds of events.
Whilst Sandown Park Racecourse had many positives, plenty of things couldn't be done because of space constraints and not affecting its primary function as a premium racecourse.
At Ardingly, there will be plenty of parking, simple in-and-out logistics, and camping on-site and hotels close-by if you prefer.
Despite its name... The South of England Showground is just as quick to access from the M25 as the old Sandown Park location.
Whilst it may be a few more miles on the clock, time-wise they are about the same.

So, will all show cars be displayed outside?
No, there will be 2 main indoor spaces for show cars to be displayed at Volksworld 2025.
The first is the Queen's Jubilee Hall. This space will house 30 or so cars, handpicked to form the Volksworld Concours Collection.
Similar to the Surrey Hall of old, expect to see the finest restorations and the craziest custom builds on display here.
Alongside these jaw-dropping VWs (no Porsches this year) will be a handful of your favourite traders, including Heritage Parts Centre.
The second space is the massive Robin's Building, which will host numerous themed displays—just like the old show, but with more space!
There is a third building, but we'll come to that in a bit.

Can we camp overnight at Volksworld show?
Yes! One of the great things about this new location is the amount of space for camping on Saturday night. It is far more set up for this, another reason the organisers have shifted to Ardingly.
Camping is priced at £30 per pitch and covers 2 adults and as many under-14s as you can accommodate!
Please note - you will still need to book your show entry tickets on top of this, and access to the show on Sunday morning won't be possible until it opens to the public.
Want to camp together with friends? You'll need to arrive together to make this possible, reserved pitches are not available.
Why not join our Camping Convoy from our OpenHaus event - and arrive with all of us, too?

Can I park with my VW Club?
Club parking is actively encouraged for owners of aircooled VW vehicles.
You'll need a club code, and this will need to be entered when you make your booking.
Not a member of a club - check out our Club Hub database, you might just find one!
If you are travelling to the show on your own, you are still welcome to join a number of special VW displays around the site.
Order your tickets now, and follow the marshalls' instructions when you arrive to your designated display area.
Display areas will be separate from the campsite, so if you are staying on-site you will need to move your vehicle when required.

Are VW Transporters allowed this year?
Whilst the inside show space is reserved for the air-cooled VW models, there will still be a lawn area dedicated to the VW Transporter - T4, T5 and T6.
If you wish to display your modern motorhome or contemporary commercial VW then you can apply through the usual channels.

Will there be a Swap Meet at Volksworld 2025?
Yes, following on from the popularity of the Swap Meet area at Sandown Park it will be back and bigger than ever! The humongous Abergavenny Building will play host to the hoarders and smaller traders with their trestle tables and tarpaulins. 6m pitches are available for a great price - book your spaces here.
You'll also find the kid's activity area and a BMX Pump Track located in this space too! Sounds like fun for all the family.

What will the Volksworld show look like then?
Probably easiest to show you a map.... Here is what you can expect.

Come to the Heritage Open Haus first!
As Volksworld will only occupy a single day this year, we'll be hosting enthusiasts at Heritage HQ on Saturday 22nd March, before the camping convoy cruises to Ardingly.
If you fancy dropping in between 10-4 pm you will be more than welcome. Enjoy a bite to eat, a catch-up with mates, a look around our 40,000sq.ft warehouse and have a chat about your project. Find out more here.
Our postcode is BN43 6PB if you want to copy it into a sat nav. We're about 45 minutes away from the new show location.

We really hope you can make it. Let's get behind this great show and keep pushing it forward - we've been attending since day 1, and we're not about to stop!
