Dubs at DLWP 2019: Photo Gallery
Last Saturday we took a trip to the iconic modernist De La Warr Pavillion in Bexhill, which just so happened to be hosting a VW Show!

Thanks to all involved with the Dubs at DLWP show. We look forward to a slightly sunnier and less breezy return in 2020.

Weather warning!
Organised by our friend Dominika and her husband Leigh Hicks from Combe Valley Campers, even high winds and scattered showers weren't going to keep us away.

First-timers
We'd not been to De La Warr before, but wow, what a building, and what a fantastic backdrop for 100 plus Volkswagens of all eras.

Inside the Pavillion
Inside the Pavillion, there was stuff for the kids to do while seeking shelter from the weather. VDub Radio was in the house spinning the tunes and doing a few interviews too. If you haven't already - give these guys a listen here.

Carpark cool
Models from all corners of the Volkswagen back catalogue congregated outsde in the Pavillion carpark. Mk2 Golf, T5, Type 25, Corrado, Bay Window and even a gigantic off road Overland Campervan (which we don't think was a VW).

Best of Show: Jack in the Bus.
Taking theming to the next level was this custom Bay crew cab complete with pop up pub! The owner was awarded the best in show prize for their efforts.
Feelin' Blue...

Tischer Caddy!
If you have been following Heritage for a few years you will be aware that we own a rare Tischer converted T25. Well, there was a Tischer converted Caddy at this event - how cool!!

Ambrose the Ambulance!
While we're on the subject of quirky homes away from home - check out this VW LT Ambulance conversion.

Grey sky thinking...

Red Alert!
We were big fans of this Tornado Red Mk3 GTI 16v, complete with full tan leather retrim and Martin Retter's T4 Party Bus equipped with 'mobile disco' which never fails to impress us.
