These 'tuner' wheel bolts are used when access is limited around the bolt hole of the wheel and where a traditional hex-head bolt & socket wouldn't work.

Tapered – The seat on the wheel is machined with a taper of 60 degrees. This type is used with most aftermarket wheels
Radius – The seating of the wheel is curved. This is used by VW and Porsche on their standard wheels, as well as the SSP 5x130 wheels.
