This high quality disc brake kit from German manufacturer CSP is the best option available on the market for upgrading the rear brakes of your pre 1967 short axle Beetle. CNC machined from die-cast aluminium this kit is an easy bolt-on upgrade for your classic Beetle.  This kit allows you to maintain the original wide-5 stud pattern while drastically improving braking performance over the original drum brakes. Brake fade will be a thing of the past and will ensure your Beetle is safe to use in modern traffic.  

This kit will not increase the rear track of your vehicle; ensuring that a wide selection of 5x205 stud pattern wheels will fit. Designed for use with 15" wheels, this kit will work with all of our aftermarket 5x205 PCD wheels as well as standard Beetle 15" steel wheels. 

When installing rear disc brakes it is important that the correct master cylinder is used. A standard drum brake master cylinder will not be suitable as the residual pressure in the system can overheat and warp the rear discs. As such you will need to install the uprated master cylinder AC611002 and the adapter AC698012 (RHD) or AC698011 (LHD)
