Can these be fitted to an earlier car that already has 5x205PCD but standard drums with the 30(?) mm shoes?
In other words could I fit these and a set of 40mm shoes to a Euro '67 beetle to improve rear braking capacity?

It looks like these could be used on an earlier car, but you would have to change the complete axles for later longer versions and all the drum internals. quite an upheaval, but apparently possible.
