  • Coil-over front shock absorber with chrome-plated helper spring
  • Adjustable lower spring seat for customizable tension
  • Ideal for Bajas, buggies, and trikes; dimensions: 423mm extended, 272mm collapsed

This coil-over front shock absorber from SSP is designed for ball joint suspension and features a chrome-plated helper spring, making it a perfect choice for Bajas, buggies, and trikes. The adjustable lower spring seat allows for fine-tuning of the tension, enabling you to firm up the suspension according to your needs.

With an extended length of 423mm and a collapsed length of 272mm, it’s crucial to ensure the correct length shocks are fitted to a lowered vehicle. Aim for at least 50mm of upward and downward travel from the normal ride height to maintain optimal handling and comfort. C-wrenches are included for easy adjustments, providing versatility in your suspension setup.

Fitting Info423mm extended, 272mm collapsed. It is very important to fit the correct length shocks to a lowered vehicle. There must be at least 50mm of upward and downward travel from the normal ride height. To ascertain what length you require you must measure the distance between the shock mountings on your vehicle after you have removed the existing shock. This must be done with the vehicle on its road wheels (not on a jack). Once you have measured you need to check it against the shock absorbers we list to see which ones you need. i.e. A normal ride height measurement of 350mm means the new shock absorber must be at least 300mm when fully compressed and 400mm when fully extended. Prior to fitting new shock absorbers always cycle it through a few strokes in the correct orientation as it will be fitted to the vehicle.
