Reviews & Ratings
  • Converts twin carb setup to single central unit
  • Ideal for stock and mildly tuned type 4 engines
  • Includes electric choke and complete fitting kit

The Weber 32/36 Progressive Carburettor Kit is designed to simplify your engine's carburetion by converting a stock twin carburettor setup into a single, centrally mounted unit. This kit is perfect for stock and mildly tuned engines, providing a balance between performance and ease of use. The included electric choke ensures smooth starts and reliable operation.

While this setup offers a straightforward solution, it's important to note that winter performance may be slightly reduced due to the manifold design and lack of preheating compared to a twin carb setup like the Weber 34ICTs. The kit comes complete with everything you need for installation, including the carburettor, manifold centre section, air filter, linkage kit, fuel line, and all necessary hardware. This makes it a convenient and effective upgrade for those looking to improve their engine's performance with a single carburettor system.

Fitting Info

This kit will not function correctly with an OE vacuum advance distributor. Update your engine with a 009 or 050 electronic ignition and a new coil. This carburettor DOES have a vacuum port for connection to a vacuum distributor if required. Rolling road set up will be required for optimum performance. For T25 you will need to trim the engine lid sound deadening or fit a thinner air filter AC1298809

Product Questions

Do i need to modify the manifold for brake vacuum?
Question by: Jim Mcsorley on 17 Mar 2025, 22:33
No need to modify as it comes with all the new replacement mountings manifold and hose
Answer by: Rob Baxter (Admin) on 21 Mar 2025, 12:29
Afternoon Jim,

Yes you will need to extend your vacuum hose to the manifold just under the carburettor. The manifold already comes with a threaded take off and fitting for a vacuum hose.

Answer by: Rob Baxter (Admin) on 5 Mar 2024, 12:56
will this work as a replacement for a fuel injection on a 2ltr 1976 t2 or will it need rejetting ?
Question by: anthony on 7 Mar 2024, 10:19
Afternoon,
Yes it will work on a FI 2.0, but yes it will probably need rejetting. It will be close out of the box, but not 100% perfect.

You'll also need to block off the return line to your tank and use a low pressure fuel pump, such as WC127WFP502. As the FI pump works with a much higher pressure.
