Product Questions

Hi. What is the diameter of this ?
Question by: Zaakir Essop on 16 Sep 2024, 08:20
Morning,

They're 60mm in diameter for a standard bayonet style fuel filler.
Answer by: Max Morley (Admin) on 16 Sep 2024, 11:53
Hi I have a 1970 1302S convertible, the fuel cap now touches the fuel cap access lid unless the high ridge at the top of the cap is in the perfect position. That position is not necessarily the best position to seal the fuel tank. the one I have is screwed into the fill line. I do not now what a bayonet type is.
Question by: Jeremy Palmer on 1 Jul 2021, 11:41
Hi Jeremy if you have the screw type cap then you will need part code 321-201-551/G - The Bayonet type does not have a screw thread but 2 tags on either side and is a push and twist action it is not compatible with a screw type filler neck. You can adjust the filler neck to be lower down so the cap does not foul the flap.
