Afternoon Jeff,
Sorry no it will only fit the late 1200 Beetles up to '74 as they retained the early steering column.
As a rule of thumb if you have two steering column switches with a plastic housing then you have the late column.
And single column switch vehicles with a metal housing have the early column. They changed in roughly 71 for 1300's
