Product Questions
I asked a question earlier today and the question was incorrectly understood. I intend replacing both steering tie rods on my mk1 golf cab. Looking at the drawing of the steering rack between the tie rod and the steering rack boot shows a “locknut” with 2 flat sided which fits on the steering rack, one for either side. Are these “locknuts” required when these new tie rod parts are used?

Hi, the lock nuts will still be required. They are VW part number 171-419-855 but are not something we stock currently.
