Product Questions
Thank you for your reply. Specifically, my vehicle is an 1986 Polo Hatchback (aka"Breadvan") Formel E with an engine code MH. Originally it was fitted with a Pierburg 2E3 carburettor. Despite my best efforts at getting this professionally restored it ultimately is not reliable enough for the normal use to which I intend to use the car and so has been replaced with a Weber carburettor. It would be nice to use the VW choke cable and lever with this carburettor, which is why I am asking. For your information, the outstandingly useful online parts catalogue to which I am referring is here: https://volkswagen.7zap.com/en/rdw/polo+derby+vento-ind/po/1986-9/7/711-48000/

Hello Charles, Thanks for the info. It does look like this one is LHD only and the RHD option 861-711-501 is no longer available. I think as you are using a Weber, it would be a question of checking the length of 1420mm on your vehicle, to see if you could use it and retro fit it possibly in a slightly different position perhaps. Hope this helps in some way.
