| Fitting Info | This conversion plate provides the mounts for a right hand drive pedal cluster and adds stiffness to the pedal area. They are needed when fitting any reproduction floorpan available to a right hand drive Beetle or Ghia as modern replacement floor pans are designed for left hand drive vehicles and do not have any provision for right hand drive pedal clusters. You will need to dress the weld holding the single pin for the cam lock plate, the other two welds should fit in the indent in the floor plate. There are different positions between early and late cars hence why the studs for this are not welded and can be put in either position and then welded. |
