Headliner. This is a TMI headliner to fit 1200 basic models from August 1971 onwards and finished in off white vinyl. The basic model was only available in Europe. This was the most basic and cheapest Beetle available in the early seventies. The headliner was simplified and there is only a small centre piece covering the top part of the roof.
The headliner takes 4 bows which are not included in the kit and reinforced edges that fit in the interior roof edges.

My beetle has got this type of headlining. Being only in the centre of the roof and not dien the pillars. Can I presume this beetle was originally a 1200 and will need this headliner. Thanks.

Hi, we do not know enough about your vehicle as a lot may have changes since it was built, however, a headliner which does not cover the pillars is one of the clues to look for when identifying a 1200. As long as your vehicle is a '71-'79 then from what you are saying this will most likely will match what is currently fitted.
