It can be modified to be fitted with a T-Handle but the lower inner skin would have to be taken from your original engine lid and grafted in to this new item.
May require some adjustment to position of hinges for a proper fit.
Although every care is taken to ensure panels arrive in perfect condition unfortunately there may be slight imperfections due to handling in transit and storage.
Always test fit before preparing and painting, some minor adjustments may be necessary.
Once test fitted, it should be stripped down to bare metal, then primed and painted, to protect it against corrosion.
I just bought a late 1966 (November 66) and it has a 67 engine lid. Rare but not as good looking. Can I fit this 66 engine lid without changing the Valance? Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the enquiry. You could physically bolt up and fit an up to 1966 Engine Lid, but it wouldn't lock without the matching rear valance.
