Afternoon Andy,
A 1300 Beetle should have a 180mm diameter clutch. Unless your engine's been upgraded to the 1600cc clutch I would opt for clutch 111-198-141/S.

A 72 1500 beetle should have the later 'no pad' clutch design 311-198-141/AS or 311-198-141/A
