2019 Heritage Highlights
As one year comes to a close it's common practice to review what has gone on, what has worked and what could have been done better. Join us we take a quick look back over some of our Heritage Highlights.

Happy New Year!
From all of us, Happy New Year! We hope that 2020 brings you much happiness, good health and hopefully a bit of car-shaped fun too. Keep sharing your projects and pics #driveheritage
Beetle Best Bits!
We could fill a whole article with just cool Beetle pictures from 2019 (now there's an idea..) but here are just a few including Patrick Sherlock's first car, which we featured back in May, and Natasha's gorgeous '74 that is the star of our Beetle Buying Guide.

We Won at Goodwood!!
Our 1956 Split was not only invited to be displayed on the Cartier Lawn at Festival of Speed, but it won Best in Class!!!
Golf Round Up!
It was a great year for watercooled VWs, from catching up with Heritage supported racer Paul Foreman and his early Mk2 GTI, Steve Comley and the earliest Golf on the road and a pair of custom Jettas that couldn't be much more different if they tried! Full stories on Russ Whitefield and his Mk2 Coupe and Rayvern Hydraulics to follow.

It's like no other...
We couldn't possibly review the year without including Nigel's 'Elk not Moose' Type 25. This was our most-read feature of the whole year!
Split Personalities
We have featured a number of awesome Split Buses this year. Ollie and Gez's patina pair, Jaime Brazier's Plum Jam show winner and Grant's epic custom Panel Van at our Newhaven shoot.

Car Collections
Opening the door to see this colour coded collection of Porsches was really quite something. If you haven't already, read all about Frank Cassidy and his car collection here.
Let's go Racing
2019 was our first year as title sponsors for the 750MC Formula Vee Championship. This grassroots single-seater series is fiercely competitive, but tons of fun.

People Power!
Old and young, from all over the world we've met some brilliant people this year. Thanks to everyone who's chatted at a show, meet or online with us.
Now that's rare...
From a Corrado Campaign (1 of 6) through to a handmade polished aluminium replica of the Porsche Berlin Rome race car, taking in Barn Door Samba buses and Salon Prive award-winning Viper Green Porsche 911s. We've been treated to some real gems this year.

Garage envy!
There are plenty more photos from here that we'll be sharing soon, but this garage belonging to Heritage customer Wawan Dalbo in Jogjakarta was simply amazing! Yes, this is at his house!
Heretics Heroes
Our monthly meets attract all sorts and we continue to make friends with new enthusiasts every month. Proceedings start again on Thursday 16th April at from 5.30pm at Heritage HQ.

In the mood for buying?
We published a number of detailed buying guides in 2019 including the Corrado Buying Guide, a Beetle Buying Guide, Golf Mk1 Cabriolet Buying Guide, Porsche 914 Buying Guide and Porsche Boxster Buying Guide. Stay tuned in 2020, as there are plenty more to come - all with lovely photos to accompany, such as this beauty captured at Goodwood Motor Circuit.
Let's play Porsche
Our Porsche parts business goes from strength to strength and we're enjoying meeting a whole new group of enthusiasts at events all over the UK. These shots come from Simply Porsche, Fried Egg 996 meeting, Porsche 914 50th Anniversary celebrations and A Porsche Christmas event at Bicester Heritage.

T time...
We even found time for a spot of cycling in 2019, both on the road with Heritage customer Ed and his Juiced Camper, but also off-road in our all-new, branded MTB tops with Ant Jones and his Turbo'd Caddy.
Bay Dreaming
We've seen buses in all states this year! From a stunning white Jurgen's at Plum Jam, and a beautiful white Westy in Ninove through to Web Designer Dave's Bay project, which still needs a bit of work and everything in between.

Laughter in Indonesia
To be honest, we've laughed a lot this year... Things are always better when you are having fun. Laurent, Indra and I had a blast at JVWF in Indonesia and I can't wait to share the rest of our stories with you all.
Charity Works
From cake baking through to Christmas jumpers and Santa Cruising, we tried to do a bit of giving back in 2019 too.
