Early Bay Bumpers 

Fitted to models made between 1968 and 1972, the rounded, wrap around bumpers are a natural follow on in style from the Splitscreen that came before it. Available in E-coated primer paint, and also polished stainless steel, these can make a real difference to your Baywindow Campervan or Transporter project. 

Late Bay Bumpers

The T2 bumpers got chunkier in ’73 when, because of safety, the deformation panel was added to the front, to assist in the event of an accident. The large Europa bumpers cover this as best that can at the back, and the rear naturally matches the front. 

Fitting Early Bay bumpers to a Late Bay is a big task, involving lots of bodywork! But you can fit the Brazilian bumpers instead, which makes these look a little more retro if that’s what you want.
