Electrical Service Parts for VW Type 25

It is commonplace to replace a number of electrical components when you are doing an annual service. From T25 spark plugs, through to Type 25 HT leads, distributor caps, rotor arms and points. We also stock T25 ignition coils, and full distributors if required.

For diesel models we can offer T25 glow plugs and glow plug relay, along with the regular filters you might need.

Having trouble starting your VW T25? 

We offer numerous T25 starter motor options for the third generation Transporter. Whilst it would be a good practice to fit a new one during restoration, should you be having starting problems, it would be sensible to double check your wiring too.

Our ‘hard start relay kit’ for example will bypass the aged wiring and send battery voltage direct to the starter, rather than via the ignition switch first.

Whilst you are investigating the wiring, also take a look at the T25 alternator to ensure it is correctly delivering charge to the battery. Should this be amiss, we can help, with a number of alternators for T25 on the shelf, ready to go!
