Volkswagen Split Screen Type 2 Ignition Parts

You will find a comprehensive range of original ignition components listed on our website, including coils, Type 2 Split HT leads, distributors, points, rotor arms, condensers, and distributor caps. Many of these will cross over and be the same as VW Beetle, Karmann Ghia and Bay.

T2 Split Bullet Indicators were introduced for US Spec models in 1955, however the Split screen semaphore indicators weren’t phased out in Europe until 1960. It is possible to ‘upgrade’ and fit indicators to an early vehicle, although with originality so desperately sought after, owners may choose to fit something subtle and hidden away below the bumper line, rather than drill new holes in their classic vehicle bodywork.
