Hi, I want the electronic distributor with the vacuum advance and retard unit for my 1979 T2 bay,
do I need a different coil for this electronic distributor, if so, which one do I need, also, if I do need one, do you have them and also do you do an alternative to bosch.
Many thanx Paul.

You can use your factory coil or upgrade to a Pertronix Flamethrower Coil

fitting a pair of Weber 34ICT carbs, so much different advice out there about the vacuum tube, some say attach to left had carb, some say you need to have it attached to both, some say you only need to attach to both on set up using dual twin chokes and not for baby ones like the 34ICT, what is your advice on using this dizzy with twin 34's. thank you.

I don't think there is a right or wrong way to be honest as long as it is receiving a good vacuum. I believe people run them to the left as its nearer the dizzy. We would recommend using both carbs, via a T piece.

Is this unit suitable for a 2L type 4 engine which I have in my 1977 baywindow?

Sorry, it won't suit a 2000cc due to the different advance curves. We don't list a version for the 2000cc I'm afraid.
