Hi removed speedo cable from gearbox and Speedo drive has fallen in but there is both red and white in the gewrbox? so not sure which one I now need. Car is mk2 golf gti 8v 1990 engine code pb gearbox code AUG please can you help, thanks

Your GTI should have the red gear.
