Is there a way that this could fit on a mk2 golf gti as I cant find any that do?

We are not aware of anyone that has used one of these on a MK2 Golf. But it may be something that can be adapted? If you purchased one to test fit, we would happily have the item back if you felt you couldn't adapt it.

What are the 'storage area' dimensions please?

These have an area of approx 42" x 42" and a rail height of 6"
