In your first picture, why have you screwed the rocker shaft mounting studs into the inlet port manifold bolt holes?

Sorry for the confusion, they studs looked to have been placed there by the supplier for transportation.

Hi, I’m sure when I bought my heads a couple years back there was a piece of paper in the box that said not to use the fire rings but I can’t find it now.
