Is this a direct replacement for the original vinyl hood (i.e. is it the same pattern / spec as the original)? Also does it fit the later electric roof models?

Yes, this is a direct replacement for the original from an Germany supplier. They specialise in hoods for many German marques and produce them as close to original spec as possible. This will suit electric models also.
