Ignition Coil Relocation Bracket - All Questions

I think I understand that this mounts onto the bolt that would secure the original single carb manifold and the coil would then sit sideways, there are two threaded holes that would be for the coil clamp, what is the large hole for and just checking that this does fit with a standard fuel pump, I will be using SSP fuel pump 113-127-025/F, thank you.
