Meet Indra

I joined Heritage 2016 as Indonesian Sales Advisor. VW vehicles never been far from me, as my Dad drove a 1961 VW Beetle when I was born in Hamburg back in 1981. Sadly the heating system in a Beetle is not really suitable for a baby, so my Dad changed it to a used 1979 VW Golf MK 1. My first car when I was 17 years old was a 1962 VW Beetle.

In 2011 I joined VW Club Yogyakarta and in 2013 I was Public Officer for the 1^st Bi-annual Jogja VW Festival. I first met Barney and Dave from VW Heritage when they visited Jogja VW Festival 2015.

In 2012 I purchased this early bay from my uncle. From the first time I saw her, Westfalia was never out of my mind (there are only 2 original LHD Westfalia in Indonesia) so I needed to make a conversion. I started with the interior (rock and roll bed, custom Westfalia cabinet, etc). My passion is driving lowered vehicles so I added SSP Dropped Spindles 6cm Drop. Also SSP Fooks Chrome 5.5x15”, custom Narrowed Front Beams and SSP Alternator 70 amp. One month after I joined Heritage we put company branding on her and she visited every VW Show in Indonesia, carrying 190kg of Heritage Booth equipment on her roof rack from Yogyakarta to Jakarta (569km) and Yogyakarta to Bali (700km) - never once using a single Highway! She is truly a workhorse!
