Flat Six 2023: Photo Gallery
Another weekend, another stellar event on our doorstep. This time it was the turn of Flat Six, a celebration of all things Porsche held at the historic Goodwood Motor Circuit, just outside of Chichester in West Sussex. Allow us to take you on a whistle-stop tour of the paddocks, the pitlane, and beyond for what is one of our favourite Porsche shows on the calendar.
The second coming
After a blistering debut in 2022, there were plenty of Porsche owners hoping the organisers would pull another rabbit out the hat for us all. There were more sponsors in place, Porsche Classic once again had a big presence, more trade stands (including Heritage Parts Centre) and our friends from 9Werks curated a display area for their members to meet in person, and swap Porsche stories.

Come for the cars, stay for the people
Chatting to owners, finding out their buying stories, what modifications they have done, where they've been and what comes next is what is great with events like this. Unlike other Goodwood events, it wasn't jam-packed with visitors, and easy enough to get around to look at everything you wished to.

Thanks for stopping to say hello
Steph and Chris were on the Heritage stand for the majority of the day, chatting cars and giving away some merch, whilst soaking up (no pun intended) the atmosphere trackside too.

Not just flat six...
Despite the name, which pays homage to the 6-cylinder boxer engines that can be found in the rear of the flagship 911 models (and mounted midships in the Boxster and Cayman) all Porsche models were more than welcome, and there was a good showing for Transaxle models, a handful of 356s, 912s, mid-engined 914s and even a 928!.

Meanwhile on the 9Werks lawn
We love the work that Lee Sibley, Andy Brookes and Max Newman get up to on the 9Werks podcast, and the events they put on too. They'd earmarked a corner of the paddock for the 9Werks Driven not Hidden collective, who support their antics and wanted to display all their cars together... and some lovely and varied cars there were too.

Out on track
There was a huge variety of cars out on the track. From classics to the latest GT4RS all giving it full beans in the dry, and some even keeping their foot down when the rain came too!

The last lap
Here's one last collection before we wrap this report up.

A big thanks to all the show organisers and staff including Jay and Sean for putting on another great event. We can't wait to do it all again, in the sunshine next year! We took a lot of pictures at this event - get in touch if you would like copies, or us to check what we have on file, happy to share them with you.
