Cars and Coffee with The Porsche Enthusiast Club: Photo Gallery

We don't host many weekend events at Heritage HQ, but after the success of the 9Werks 996 anniversary celebration, it didn't take us long to accept the offer of a visit from TIPEC, The 'Independent' Porsche Enthusiasts Club, when the suggestion was made. Read on and we'll tell you all about it.

Who Are The Porsche Enthusiasts Club?

In the UK there are two national Porsche clubs that enthusiasts can join. Porsche Club GB (we have attended many of their events before) and The Porsche Enthusiasts Club (who help to run Simply Porsche at Beaulieu).

Independent of the Porsche factory and dealer network, TIPEC offer much the same as PCGB, in the sense of monthly meetings, drive-outs, and discounts on services, however, they are afforded a little more freedom due to the lack of official endorsement. Many owners actually sign up for both groups, so they are far from mutually exclusive.

We were joined by both the Kent and South East London region and the Sussex and Surrey regions for this particular event.

Looking Inside

One of the most popular features of our Heretics events has been our warehouse tours, and it was a pleasure to show 40 or so Porsche enthusiasts around our warehouse, and explain in detail how our business works. Credit to Michael at Kult_9 for this photo of me in action!

The Cars

TIPEC members turned up in a spectrum of Stuttgart badged cars. We were very pleased to welcome a pair of 928s, more than a handful of 944s including Turbo and Cabriolet versions, not to mention GT3s, 911 Turbo and a great showing of Boxsters, Caymans, and Spyders. Fans of air cooled classics were kept happy with 964s and a hot rod 356 and 911 duo with plenty of custom touches between them.

The Coffee...

Our thanks once again to Crew Cab Coffee for coming down and taking care of hot drinks and snacks. We had some great compliments on the coffee they make and the steady queue only cemented those endorsements further.

Roof Down

For owners of open top Porsches it couldn't be more perfect, we struck gold after a week of mixed weather and the sun shone on us all morning.

Porsche Teddy Bears!

Check out these cuddly collectables that were issued by Porsche back in the day!

More Cars...

After our Heretics meetings finished in September, this one almost rounds off our event calendar for the year. Except, we still have our Santa Cruise to come on Sunday 11th December. Find out more on the Facebook event page here. We hope you can make it.
