Can I install this steering wheel also on a late t2 bay model with the boss kit AC400061 as that also has the 9x102mm screw configuration? It says on the description that this steering wheel fits t2 bay from 1968-1974 but I'd like it for my -79, as the original steering wheel is 450mm in diameter so I'd like this 405mm instead of the 380mm one that you sell for the 1968-1979 t2 bay (AC400107)

Yes it will fit, but we generally recommend the slightly smaller 380mm steering wheels that are also dished. As the 405mm one is flat, the steering wheel comes close to the indicator and wiper stalks. Some customers have cut down their stalks so that they are still reachable with their fingers but don't get close to the outer rim of the wheel under normal driving. I guess it's a personal choice.
