For all 996 and Boxster 986 six-cylinder water cooled engines, Porsche recommends the multigrade version with a viscosity of 5W-50.

Porsche Classic's response to the need for a modern engine oil suitable for six-cylinder water-cooled engines. Whether the engine is hot or cold, this oil ensures ideal care for the engine, with minimum sediment and excellent compatibility with the materials used.
