The EMPI Ultra Twin 40mm HPMX Carburettor Kit is the ultimate upgrade for performance engines exceeding 1600cc. This all-inclusive kit comes with twin carburettors, new style offset manifolds, the latest Ultra hex bar linkage, air filters, fuel hose, and all necessary hardware for a straightforward installation.
Equipped with 28mm venturis, 115 main jets, 52 idle jets, 200 air correction jets, .55 accelerator exhaust jets, and .50 accelerator pump jets, along with F11 emulsion tubes, this kit is designed for high performance and reliability. Enjoy improved throttle response and power delivery, making it a top choice for enthusiasts. Compared to Weber IDF carburettors, the HPMX versions offer significant improvements, with Hot VWs magazine noting a 7.35 BHP increase on an 1835cc engine. The offset manifolds ensure the hex bar linkage runs parallel with the fan housing for enhanced throttle response.
