The original factory 911 tie rods fitted up to 1989 use rubber articulated bushes which can make steering feel spongy, especially with age. Our 911 Turbo tie rod upgrade gives a firmer and more responsive feel to the steering by converting to the backlash-free Unibal joints that are only installed in the Turbo.
