Fitting InfoThe tension of the mirror arm has been established upon manufacture. Any amount of tension beyond this tolerance will result in irreparable damage to the mirror post. Do not over tighten the tension nut! Installation of this mirror will require loosening the tension nut. Prior to loosening the nut, use an indelible marker to draw a line onto the tension nut and the housing. Secure the mirror onto the door, and then establish the angle of the mirror arm. Place the tension nut onto the post and tighten until the marks are in alignment. Use a solvent to remove marks.
