This rod is the shorter one of the two and is part of the gear selector assembly located on top of the gearbox.
Fits:
Mk3 Golf 1.8, 1.9, 2.0 engines with manual transmission
Polo 1.6, 2.0 petrol, 1.9 diesel with manual transmission.
Will not fit vehicles with cable gear linkage.
