Hi, I have a Golf 2 gti 16V from 1989 with motor code PL and 2Y transmission. Currently I have a 65A Bosch alternator, but I need to replace it. Can I use this alternator? Do I need to replace anything else when I go from a 65A to 90A alternator?

It looks like it will be a straight swap as you have a PL code engine.
