That’s not the case for my 1995 Polo 1.3 ADX. It doesn’t have and has never had a plastic tube. It currently has a very tired 29-year-old corrugated metal and cardboard tube that needs replacing. I guess my question wasn’t really a question; it was more to let others know that other vehicles had this type of tube, too. I think the plastic tube came along with the 1.4 engine.

Yes, this is correct warm air pipe for a '95 1.3 Polo. It's not the air intake hose that connects directly to the air filter housing.

Hi there. Would I be right in thinking think this also fits the Polo 6N Mk3 with the 1.3 engine carried over from the Mk2. It had engine designation ADX and was only sold from 1994-1995.
Question by: Thomas Hillier on 25 Feb 2024, 08:45
The ADX used the plastic one 6n0129627J but this was 50mm so you can use the hose and cut it down as a fix

This hose have different left or right?
Question by: Eric Chong on 16 Mar 2025, 05:20
Morning Eric,
These are the same for both left and right on engines up to 1600cc.
For the larger 1700-2000 buses then you need the 60mm hose. That is different for left and right.
