This VW Type-4 rear engine tin is made out of black dyed, glass fibre or super light carbon fibre, fits a Porsche 911-style fan shroud and is supplied without cutouts for the heater hose. These have to be cut individually when needed. The part is supplied with a separate pulley cover, made out of stainless steel, and allows the use of pulleys with a maximum diameter of 146 mm.
The carbon version is a weight-optimised motorsport part without surface finishing. It may have air bubbles due to the manufacturing process.
As with any glass fibre part, adaption work may be required.
