Oil thermostat.

This thermostat is designed to be positioned in line between the engine and full flow accessories, this unit protects oil coolers and filters from excess pressure when the oil is cold, it does allow some oil past but bypasses the majority back to the engine until the oil is up to temperature. Recommended for use with full flow oil systems during the British winter. The thermostat opens at around 180 degrees Fahrenheit to allow all the oil to freely pass through the external oil cooler.

Supplied with 4x  3/8" NPT Hose Barbs to suit 1/2" Oil Hose and 4 Hose Clips.
