Volkswagen Split Bus gas Tank Parts

Made from metal and hidden away behind the engine, if you are recommissioning a Splitscreen bus, you may want to consider fitting a new gas tank, rather than risk rust and other contaminants making their way into your carburettor and engine, causing running problems or damage. 

Gas tanks were the same between 1955-1967, and we can offer a Wolfsburg West version for those looking for an OE quality replacement. We also supply numerous gas filler caps, drain tubes, fuel hoses and gaskets to ensure you have everything for installation.

VW Split Screen Fuel Pumps - Mechanical and Electric Options

Heritage Parts Centre offers a good range of VW Split mechanical fuel pumps, including both dynamo and alternator versions (which use 108mm and 100mm fuel pump pushrods respectively) 

For vehicles producing in excess of 100hp, an electric fuel pump conversion kit is a must to keep up with fuel delivery to the engine. We offer a number of options, including high-performance rotary fuel pumps with regulators to maintain the health of your Split Bus fuel system. If you require fuel pump repairs, we offer fuel filters, block-offs, pushrods, fuel lines, clamps, and T-pieces.

Volkswagen Split Bus Carburettors - Original and Performance

The air-cooled VW Split Bus carburettor plays a crucial role in delivering fuel to the engine, but can be the root cause of many running problems, especially if it hasn’t been maintained or tuned correctly. If you are looking to service or clean your standard Split screen carburettor we offer rebuild kits with the necessary gaskets to do so. 

We can offer replacement original-style 30 PICT or 34 PICT Solex carburettors and also big bore performance upgrades, not to mention many twin carburettor kits depending on your requirements. 

Choose from EMPI and Weber twin carb kits, from 34ICT through to 40 and 44 IDF’s for real performance focused engines.

Naturally we can also provide the Split inlet manifolds for both performance and stock carburettor set ups.
