Although never fitted with disc brakes from the factory there are a number of VW Splitscreen disc brake conversions available for owners looking to refine the stopping experience in their vintage Split Bus. Manufacturers such as EMPI and CSP have developed bolt on disc brake solutions for owners who have significant increased engine power, or want added peace of mind from a more modern set up.
Naturally, on top of supplying the full disc conversion kit, we can also supply replacement Split brake discs, brake hoses, caliper parts and Split Bus brake pads, to assist with ongoing maintenance.
