Our Beetle Cabriolet brake parts are broken down into two main groups – VW Beetle Cabriolet drum brakes and convertible Beetle disc brakes. Broadly speaking, any Convertible VW Beetle built before 1967 will have standard Beetle drum brakes all round, while later Karmann Cabriolet Beetles will have front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. Prior to the 1967 model, all Cabrio Beetles had 5-bolt wheels and drum brakes all round. In 1967, for the European market 1500 model, front disc brakes and 4-bolt wheels were introduced. Naturally, we stock a complete range of classic Beetle cabriolet brake parts for both disc brakes and drum brake models, including Beetle convertible brake shoes, VW Cabrio brake calipers and replacement brake pads.
