This Mesh Air Cleaner Housing is designed to fit Weber IDF and HPMX 40/44/48 carburettors, offering a sleek, high-performance air filtration solution. Constructed from premium #304 stainless steel, it combines durability with a classic aesthetic, featuring a 5-bolt locking top plate. The maximum tightening torque for all bolts is 5 N.M to ensure secure attachment without over-tightening.
The kit includes an air filter element, but it's also compatible with other filters such as the K&N-3341. The internal four tubes are threaded to link the upper and lower stainless steel plates, with shorter hex screws on top and longer screws at the bottom for easy assembly. The air cleaner housing is designed to fit snugly with minimal gaps, but adjustments can be made by grinding a small amount off the stacks if necessary. The filter size is L 18cm, W 11.8cm, H 8.6cm, providing excellent airflow for your carburettor system. If using on dual carb setups, be sure to order two filters.
