Reviews & Ratings

Semaphore indicator for use on VWs that have been converted to 12 Volt electrics.

This high quality reproduction semaphore is the ideal solution for vintage VWs that have had a 12V conversion. Brand new and already wound to 12V, these semaphores help ensure that you'll be seen when you indicate in your semaphore equipped VW. Fitted with a 12V coil these semaphores spring to action when operated, and light up with a bright 12V bulb under the orange lens.

The ideal replacement for lazy or inoperable 6V semaphores. Fitment is as simple as connecting the standard 2 wires. No need to mess around with voltage droppers or resistors to protect the windings when using 6V semaphores on a 12V car; simply bolt these on and away you go, safe in the knowledge you'll get the reassuring 'clunk' every time you indicate.

Supplied individually, we recommend purchasing x2 of these for one car.

Product Questions

Are the lenses and outside metal cover(original painted cover) interchangeable with these units? Thanks

Thanks for the enquiry. We haven't attempted a swap like that with these, but we don't see why they couldn't be interchanged.
