This 2-Point Inertia Lap Belt is designed for a secure and comfortable fit in vehicles without welded-in mounts. Featuring a sleek black plastic buckle and durable black webbing, the belt ensures reliable performance and modern styling.
With a webbing stalk of 22cm and a belt length of 110cm, it is perfect for Beetle and Karmann Ghia models, as well as front bench seats in Splitscreen and Baywindow buses. Hardware and instructions are included for easy installation, making this lap belt an ideal upgrade for safety and comfort.
All of our seatbelts are manufactured in the UK and they meet all current UK MOT requirements. Out aircraft style pull up to release chrome buckle belts are specified to BSI standards. Our modern style push in buckle seats are specified to European standards. Both styles are equally safe but vehicles manufactured after December 1971 can only fit a push in buckle European standard belts at the front due to current legislation.

| Fitting Info | This can only be used where the webbing is free to retract on to the inertia. In our opinion it is not suitable for the rear of Beetles and Ghias. Bringing the webbing through between seat back and base is the problem. It could be fitted easily to the centre of 1\/3- 2\/3 bench seats in a bus. They could be fitted to the front of Beetles and Ghias where no shoulder mount exsists, but a 3 point belt would be safer. |
