This cooling flap thermostat is a direct replacement for fuel-injected Beetles. Since the original style thermostat is no longer available, this new style offers a reliable solution to maintain your engine's cooling system.
To install, you’ll need to drill a small locating hole in your existing mounting bracket to secure the thermostat and prevent rotation. Note that this thermostat is not suitable for Type 4 engines.
