EMPI twin 44mm HPMX carburetor kit.
A great carburetor for the street or the strip these have one butterfly per cylinder aloowing for precise tuning and great power. This is a version of the Weber IDF carburetors and look virtually identical but EMPI have engineering improvements which help the HPMX produce more power than the Weber caburetors. This was proven in testing by Hot VWs magazine that an 1835cc produced 7.35 BHP more. All the spare parts including the jets are interchanable between both brands.
These carburetors do not have chokes.
Supplied as a complete kit including carburetors, manifolds, hex bar linkage, air filters, fuel hose and all hardware to fit. This kit is well suited to performance engines over 1800cc.
